Depending on the circumstances, a leak may grow and spread considerably before reaching an individual probe. With distributed sensing, the liquid is detected if it makes contact anywhere along the length of the sensing cable that monitors an entire area. The TTSIM-PLUS is a leak detection system synergizing with the TTSIM-2 as its sensor interface module. This integrated solution is designed for server rooms of all sizes and able to monitor up to 150m (500ft) of sensor cable.
The front face of the panel consist of 4 user-friendly LED buttons which correspond to power status, leak status, buzzer alarm & system reset. The panel also has a window for engineers to view the leak distance indicated on the TTSIM-2 LCD display should a leak occur. Leak Detection System Module: TTSIM-1
The TTSIM-1 Sensor Interface Module monitors up to 5000 feet (1500 m) of TraceTek sensing cable. When liquid is detected, the TTSIM-1 unit communicates either with a TTDM-128 Master Module or directly to a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), building management system, or other host system using standard MODBUS, Opto-22, or Johnson Controls Metasys protocol. TTSIM-1’s low cost makes it economical to build very robust systems with many small independent sensing cable segments. No field calibration is required other than a map to show where the sensor cable has been installed.
Leak Detection System Module: TTSIM-1A
The TTSIM-1A Sensor Interface Module monitors up to 150 meters (500 feet) of TraceTek sensing cable. When liquid is detected, the TTSIM-1A unit indicates the leak with an LED, and switches a relay to provide local voltage-free contact closure. The TTSIM-1A can also communicate to a host monitoring system such as a TraceTek TTDM-128 or directly to a PLC or other host system using standard protocols.
Leak Detection System Module: TTSIM-2
The TraceTek TTSIM-2 is a sensor interface module with capacity to monitor up to 150m (500ft) of sensor cable. Leak alarm signaling is via 3-digit leak location on built-in LCD display, LED, dry contact relay, and serial data to a PLC or host system using standard protocols. It can be used as a stand-alone leak detection alarm unit, or integrated with the TTSIM, TT-NRM, TTDM-128, or TT-TS12 modules.
Touch Screen Panel: TT-TS12
The TraceTek TT-TS12 Touch Screen Panel provides a graphic user interface to manage and display information from a network of up to 250 external leak detection system circuits. With interactive and dynamic leak location maps and displays, the leak location can be displayed on the floor plan, piping layout or photo of a single piece of equipment. Provides a quick status overview of all leak detection cables. Works with TTSIM or wireless mesh transmitters.
Leak Detection System Module: TTDM-128
The TTDM-128 module directly monitors up to 1500m (5000ft) of sensor cable and a network of up to 128 remote TraceTek modules. The remote modules may be a combination of sensor interface modules (TTSIM), relay modules (TT-NRM) or additional TTDM-128 modules. With its networking capability, the TTDM-128 provides tremendous flexibility in terms of layout options and monitoring capability.
Leak Detection System Module: TTC01
The TraceTek TTC-1 module offers a low cost option for liquid leak detection. It is designed for use with any TraceTek sensing cable, and can be integrated into a variety of monitoring systems. The TTC-1 module includes three sets of relay contacts which can be used for remote annunciation and equipment control.
Leak Detection System Probe: TT-FLAT PROBE
The TT-FLAT PROBE is a special purpose probe designed to detect water leaks in specific locations such as low spots or drip trays. It is designed to be integrated as a part of a larger leak detection system, monitored by controllers such as the TT-SIM module.
Fast Fuel Sensor: TT-FFS
The TraceTek Fast Fuel Sensor (FFS) is a probe designed to detect hydrocarbon fuel floating on water, spreading on a flat surface or collecting in a sump. Reaction time for the probe is typically a few seconds for light or middle weight fuels such as gasoline, jet fuel, and diesel. It is also responsive to crude oil and some heavier weight fuels and heating oils, at a slower response time.
The TT-FFS is FM 7745 Standard approved and available in a standard version for improving safety of diesel generators, oil storage tanks or other heading equipment. The TT-FFS-WR version is water resistant and is effective at detecting possible leaks in hydrocarbon storage tank or float assembly.
